Fill your boots. I like to throw a little water on the cheerleading practice from time to time.

I think we will finish a few games above 500 . If that is pom pom waiving then I guess I am guilty

Wow Morgan Rielly has 44 points, kids making Burke look like a genius. He’s gonna win the Norris if he keeps this up.

That's where I think too but we will finish ahead of Oilers

- VANTEL

Gonna be in the same tier as them most likely, just gonna come down to injuries and goaltending to see who finishes higher lol

5-2 Flames 2 empty net goals.

I'm hoping it's more of a 5-4 type of loss

1st period at the game is done . utenen seems to only get neutral and defensive zone starts. Super reliable. Reminds me of duncan Keith the way he skates. Kakko is as advertised, seems a cut above the rest.
- Codes1087

I haven't watched a lot of the top draft prospects yet, but the limited clips I've seen of Kakko are definitely impressive.

I just want to see Rousell crosscheck Tkachuk in the mouth...don't give a sh!t about win/loss just want to see that happen.

- LordHumungous

We haven't seen too much of his antics yet outside of a little cheap shot on Tanev at the end of a game last year. He's done most of it against other teams in the West, but I have a feeling we might get some fireworks tonight

I thought they were going to finish dead last. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on that.

Eventually they’ll hit some luck if they keep playing.

Oilers losing 5-1. Just because teams have games in hand does not mean automatic points.

Sad sack team imo

Blessing there for sure

I’d be pretty happy with Nico Hischier though, kids good! Never liked Patrick’s game.

Last year a lot of fans had him above Dahlen and considered him an "untouchable" prospect. This year, if the Canucks were buyers, I don't think teams would be asking for Lind in any discussion.

I think it was CA or the Athletic that had something that was basically like "Kole Lind will probably be a third liner" and people poop their pants. Main argument was that Lind basically sure had fun riding shotgun with Dube as he played the most CHL Scorer game a CHL scorer could play.

- Lindenis#1

Lind has great support and the will to succeed, not worried about him, some adjust right away and some take time.

didn't the Canucks lose like 9 out of 10 earlier this year?
- Nucker101

Yeah but now we're going to the playoffs.

to me it's even more impressive that the team went that far struggling and are still holding on to a faint WC chance

Oilers are a young team, I know they’ve been mismanaged for so long but they’ll be fine if they get a proper GM. McDavid is 21, Draisaitl is 22, RNH is 25, Nurse is 23, Klefbom is 25, Puljujarvi is 20, Yamamoto is 19, they’re basically starting over again.

It is not only Pettersson though. There is a list of improvements that have been mentioned.

When Petey was out we went 3-3 a 500 club, exactly where we are now.

it's like the punchline of a joke - how many 1st Overall picks does it take to re-build the Oilers ?

Doesn't matter Mar. You were predicting in October we are enjoying in December. No difference.

Nothing wrong with thinking the team will be sh1tty in October or thinking the year was a success already in December . Same thing.

- VANTEL

To be fair, marwood has consistently said to wait for January before celebrating.
