So the Flyers don't have high priced NHL veterans on their roster?

Sweet Bobby, why do you know nothting? - tomburton99
Don’t you get it ! A lot of picks mean nothing unless they produce! Ghost one time top pair dman now........ not so much Patrick a bust provorov and carter the jury is still out just like chytil and Anderson. If Nolan Patrick is bust so are Chyitl and Andersson. Also the Rangers won't have enough cap space to sign Hayes, Panarin and Karlsson. Sweet Bobby, you continue to not know. |

About what, because if you're referring to Panarin and Karlsson then it's almost impossible. The Rangers will have 23 million cap space when UFA begins if they make no changes. So they'll have 9 roster spots to fill. Would be almost impossible giving all the 6 million dollar cap hits. I guarantee you Karlsson and Panarin sign for well north of that. |

They would if they move out Shatty, Skjei, buyout/trade Staal and pick either Vesey or Vladdy. I think you can do with that or even keep Shatty move out both Vesey and Vlad. |

They are 26 and 27. This is their prime. We know what they are. I like both of them. But are the 1st line player, maybe. Probably not. Chances of them getting better as they get older, slim. - tomburton99
Correction: We know what Kreider is.
This is Hayes first full season under a new role that gives him room to make offense. It's on par to the coming out parties from Coots and Karlsson from LVGK. He was a better a player in a restrictive role than those two. There's a reason why Chicago took him during the Toews, Kane and Hossa era. |

Kreider exceeding the 50 point mark once is noteworthy? Lol throw up the birthday streamers.
By your calculation Boone Jenner, Ryan Callahan and David Clarkson are all better goal scorer's than he is. They did hit 30 or more goals unlike Kreider (28).
Hayes 49 pts to Kreids 53 pts is a terrible gap to have as a top 6 winger to when Hayes was a shutdown 3c. Sorry but nobody outside this place would ever consider him a 50 point player. |

Russia takes SO MANY ridiculous penalties. Two penalty shots on the same play, a misconduct for butting with the stick |

This is possible. The biggest obstacle to this continues to be Lundqvist. This team as constructed now will have a lottery chance. If not for the goalie we would have an 18% chance at it.
You dont need to sign TWO UFA this year. Panarin this year and maybe Taylor Hall in 2020 |

Trust in management? How much better off would we be right now if we signed Hayes last summer and cut a one year deal with Skjei instead? |

You can't use hindsight for this scenario. Skjei was trending up and Hayes was a ?.
We can play this game all day, they should have taken Tarasenko instead of McIlrath too. |

True and that too !!!
BUT we are loaded at LD after the deadline trades/draft last year and Skjei sucked last year too. Also, ddint Gorton know that AV was protecting Skjei's minuties? |
