The honeymoon phase has come and gone. He is a one dimensional finisher. That's great, you need guys like that I just don't think you want them for 8 yrs at >8M aav.

Reinforcements are going to come from Rochester at some point. I think part of Eichel, Reinhart, Risto, Dahlin's development is trying to right this ship on their own. If these guys can win with absolutely no secondary scoring we will be better off when they are actually surrounded with enough talent to win.

Manning had three points, 23 blocks and 50 hits in 27 games this season for Chicago. The Oilers also acquired Alex Petrovic from Florida on Sunday to shake up the team's defense corps.
