2 coaches fired today, neither named McDermott. |

He still wasn't "on a tear" with O'Reilly. He was ok after being brutal, and did a lot of damage on the PP.
The only time he's ever produced at a high level 5 on 5 is with Jack - sbroads24
I wouldn’t hate trying something like
Skinner-Sam-(someone)
Then play Sheary & someone with Jack
That should get 2 lines scoring
Then Mitts is on line3 with some easier matchups, which hopefully gets him going |

Do u think he’s gonna be?
I was under the assumption that he’d get another year |

Didn't they already do that when Rex was here? |

I just wish they would get an offense minded coach that’s all I ask

It really all depends on whether or not Allen works out
Most NFL teams go as far as their QB takes them
He definitely looked better overall after the injury
Long way to go though
So hopefully he takes another step forward this offseason |

I hear ya. Doesn't appear that's going to happen. I also heard that it's not a great FA market. I hope they don't overspend on mediocrity. |

They're 2 years away from being watchable, and 3-4 from contending..
Even if Allen is "the guy"

I would do something like
Sheary/Eichel/Pominville
Skinner/Mitts/Reinhart
Erod/Larsson/Thompson
Wilson/Sobotka/Okposo
Elie
It might hurt Eichel, but he will still create, plus still top top defensive match ups, and that should be a dangerous 2nd line at the very least.
And if that doesn't get Mitts going it's on a bus to Rochester he goes |

If they sign Funches that will be a huge mistake |

They are going to sign a speed guy and draft one IMO.
The position got better when Foster stepped up |

With the right moves,
I think we could challenge for the playoffs again next season
As long as Allen keeps getting better |

That could get Mitts going,
but it still leaves us with 2 lines that won’t score
That’s better than what we have now
But ideally we get a 2C that can bump Mitts down to the 3rd line
I don’t think he’s going anywhere
And even if we do call someone up,
who knows if they’ll actually be able to jump start the offense
I think it’s time to start tinkering either way though |

To be fair, Larsson/Erod/Thompson actually generate shots and could threaten to score once and a while.
I'd rather bring up CJ Smith and waive Elie or sit someone but I don't think that's happening yet |

I like Foster & Zay as part of our top4 WRs
Don’t see us drafting a WR in the 1st unless we trade down
Not much i like in the UFA department
Maybe Golden Tate?
Maybe John Brown?
Other than that,
we’re gonna have to look to make a trade i think |
