Codes would need to eat a 14 lb turkey to hit a buck fiddy. Dairy Queen hiring rules no one over 140 lbs so they don't need to buy new uniforms

Happy New Year fellas, and you as well Carol. Anyone watch the USA game last night? I was really impressed with Madden but neither impressed or unimpressed with Quinn Hughes game. I'm no expert but I think Hughes is going to need some adjustment time or seasoning to play in the NHL.

Edler is still the team's best defencemen, if they plan on being competitive while Quinn Hughes gets his feet wet in the NHL, that's probably a good idea.

He'll be fine. His skating is already a league above of what the WJHC is offering. That much we can see right now. See how it translates to NHL.

No. Gary had to award it to Dallas to deflect the press away from their sh!t show owner and his mouth.

His physical tools are exceptional, I just think it it looks like he's going to need some adjustment time to figure out how to play a better team game and utilize his teammates better in what will be a much faster league.

As 2018 closes I think after 42 games, post Sedin era, the team is really positioned nicely with some good drafting after five years of Jim Benning. He didn't get every first rounder right, so it seems, but he surely got it right with Boeser and Pettersson.

Their record is only slightly better than last year after 42 games but the games are so much more fun to watch. I think it might be time to go after a UFA to help out that top six?

Unlike before when Benning signed Eriksson, bad timing because the team was on the downswing, now they're on the upswing and the timing could be right? The poor signings of Eriksson and Gagne might hinder that though?

He got rocked in the third period as well, by physical tools I meant skating and stick handling not throwing bodychecks

Agree on all counts of course. But you mention physical tools and the kids literally is a one-man breakout. his first pass and utilizing teammates will come in time. There will of course be some adjusting to NHL speed but I don't think he's going to have a lot of issues with it. Like Vantel said he needs to hang on to the puck a bit longer and make smart choices...but that will come too.
