Why Can't we bring up our rookie goalie?
Nilsson has never been much of a goalie in this league, other than a few good starts yearly.
Not sure who I dislike more Nilsson or Godawfulin

It looks really bad the last 2 games. I'm a tad concerned.

i would love for the Canucks to be established in a sellers direction come TDL. Offload Nilsson, Schaller, MDZ, Granlund, Goldy, DP. Essentially just give Brackett as many draft picks as possible. Fill in the gaps with kids from Utica.

I realize Demko probably gives a better chance to win and make our draft position worse, but Nilsson overplays positionally and deflates this team.
I would rather see the players who will be on this team moving forward, start to get into some action sooner, rather than later.
He has served his development time.

I thought we played alot better than the last 2 games, goaltending was the obvious reason we lost, if you don't have it your toast doesn't matter who you are.

Canucks gage won some games where they got outplayed and lost some where they outplayed their opponent. Unless you get Vezina caliber goaltending then it tends to even out over 82 games.

That's what was said about marky not long ago. Goaltending is a tough position at this level, confidence is a biggie and when you don't play for weeks its tough to get into a groove. I don't dwell on negatives when there isn't many but goldy is frustrating I do agree but there is skill there, he better get it soon.

i like Goldobin more than most, but I am perfectly ok with Green throwing him in the dog house, demoting him to the 3rd/4th lines, or Benning even trading him. I like goldy, but I like draft picks for Brackett more.

i just looked up stats on Mackenzie Blackwood. The Kid struggled going 7-17-1 in the AHL. Spent 5 games in the ECHL. Now just posted back to back shutouts for the devils the following year as a rookie.

oof, just read that Cory Schneider has not won a regular season hockey game in 1 calender year. Last time he won was Dec 27 2017

Schneider hasn't been the same since his injuries, apparently his lateral movement has really taken a hit.


Canucks dodged a bullet betraying him and getting Horvat, that turned out to be a fantastic trade.

Confused? I'm talking about this season so far and stated nothing else. Don't try and confuse things.

Oh, well then you are confused as he did not play well in october or november, which is why his stats still arent very impressive. So... yeah. Im happy he played really well in December but it doesnt actually mean he’S having a good season. He’s 1/3 for months in the season so far.
