Acting? I never said anything about all Year. Just stop. Everyone knows how bad he played last season. Nothing worse than people who write other people's opinions for them.
Acting would be the post you just made.

Utunen another Euro D bust picked by Weisbrod. - manvanfan
Probably never amounts to anything at the NHL level, but he wasnt bad at all when i watched him vs the slovaks. He only was deployed in the neutral zone and D zone for faceoffs and alternated 1st and 2nd pairing on the PK. Didnt look like he would ever contribute much offensively |

Kid is going to be the best RHD in that draft. Such talent, only a pusillanimous fool would disagree. |

The most deft and agile hand cannot wield a stick nimbly enough to beat a dim witted knave outfitted in master crafted armour who wields a long sword sharpened to a razor's edge.

He certainly looks like he could be a very good NHL defender. As for best RHD, I still think that Dobson will be a better overall defender. |

For the Goldie pom pom squad
We leave you with Nikolay Goldobin’s stat line: 12:28 time on ice including 2:58 on the power play, no points, no shots on net and only one attempted, no blocks or hits, minus-2 rating and 38.9 shots-for percentage in a game when 15 canucks skaters were over 50 %

Ok, here's a question... treat it like a poll because I know Hockeybuzzards love polls. Which of these statements are accurate?
This season, Markstrom has kept the overwhelming majority of games close including the ones he lost.
Last season Markstrom kept the overwhelming majority of games close including the ones he lost.
Please don't add empty net goals into the consideration.
Thank you for you participation. |

Those questions aren't mutually exclusive so how we supposed to pick? Is there a C - none of the above? or D - all? |

This has been covered a fair bit. I think you might be missing the point. Most of the games,,, even when things bottomed out, were close to the point of the goalie being pulled. Last season the Canucks were chasing from a wider deficit so often I lost interest and turned my back on the TV. This has been a topic in intermission shows etc. Backed by numbers.
The so called poor stretch he played, he was letting in that stupid early goal as usual. What was different last season is their was 2 or 3 of them.
It should be noted, Markstrom "sucked" in that disaster run of injuries. Games remained close none the less. Last season, fire drill through the injuries. Markstrom finished the season playing solid. He managed to drum up optimism among a few fans here. I think it's only honest to give him credit as a improved player going back to last spring really. Still time for him to crash and burn but credit due. He, like many on the Canucks, have shown an ability to improve still.

It's easy to forget that Nillson was injured during that insane road trip and the heart of the Canucks D and defensive forward group were injured as well. When they got a few games rest at home, he really took off. Hasnt looked back since.(I probably just jinxed him) |
