It's easy to forget that Nillson was injured during that insane road trip and the heart of the Canucks D and defensive forward group were injured as well. When they got a few games rest at home, he really took off. Hasnt looked back since.(I probably just jinxed him)

Markstrom wasn’t terrible last year and for parts of this one, but he was consistently below average. This last stretch is the first that I can remember where he has consistently been the better goalie on the ice and a significant factor in their wins.
