All that means nothing, the 2nd line can't score and your 2nd line needs to do that. He has no business right now centering that line.

When he plays 2nd line minutes, I'll agree. Right now he's playing 3rd line minutes. This team doesnt divide minutes in a traditional way

Like I said, I'm not sure if that's a center or a wing problem. Maybe both. We have a 20 year old playing 3rd line minutes with washed up Okposo and Erod/Sheary. I think a dynamic RW makes as big of a difference there as replacing Mitts. Cheaper too. Then play that line for 17 minutes and watch the scoring increase

Does it really matter wing or center, NOBODY is scoring besides the #1 line, and when jack goes down, there goes the scoring you had. This team needs secondary scoring from whoever they can get it from, wing, center, defense, I really don't care but someone other then Jack needs to generate something.

That's the most dynamic top-9 I can think of. Gotta keep Skinner with Eichel to keep him happy

I loved the ROR trade from the most part but I certainly was afraid of what it would do to our centers. Losing that production is hurting us right now.

How much longer do we have to wait. Id have no problem dealing 37, and to a much more PAINFUL extent, 55, for a true producing 2C. You simply cannot compete without 2 quality centers.

So using that as a model, Id love to see what it would take for either Duschene or (if they plan on tearing it down) Giroux. I know Giroux is 30ish but he has the kind of game and wheels that could carry forward (like Briere did)

Simply out, Im sick of waiting and I want a true 2C before we waste all of Eichels prime years.
