that being said, e-rod, pod racer and casey were not making center plays very often and it's painful to watch at times

this is pretty much where many thought they'd be at the beginning of the season...however, they showed what can happen if they get on a roll...imo, they've been playing some pretty good hockey lately, but have run into some top-notch goaltending...holtby, allen and lehner were the difference-makers in three of the sabres last four losses...you can even go back to luongo in florida...

they need to keep playing like this and see where it takes them

Winter Classic/Outdoor games have lost their luster.

Same 5 teams every year (Boston, Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia)

And too many Stadium series ruined the mystique.

The teams that have played in every WC haven't been rivals (at least traditionally).

It just makes no sense, the match-ups.
