I don't see it that way

white people will tune in to hockey, black people will tune into basketball

the others, 50:50 what they tune into

if it was football, 99:1 in favor of football

Because the last place team won the lottery. We would have probably been last place without Jack Eichel.
- sbroads24

We've been last place WITH him a couple times IIRC...

But why would Minnesota do this? They're 5 points out of a wild card spot
- Powerslave

I’m not saying they would

I’m just saying that Coyle isn’t a “2C”
and IF we did trade for him,
we shouldn’t give up assets like he is

And McCabe is nothing more than a 4/5 oft injured d man.

I like McCabes game but he is on the injury report almost as much as Bogo. Bogo just misses more game.

There is nothing about McCabes game that makes me think he is a top 4 guy on a good team.

He is extremely overvalued by us Sabres fans.

- Stripes77

No, he isn't.

He's a good guy for your top-6 and has almost no value in a trade.

He’s a solid defensive defenseman
If we are gonna move him, then ok
But not for a guy who is a 3C who we then try to use to fix line2
That’s a terrible idea

He has some value due to his age and contract

Lack of right d men

It's either risto and dahlin

Or risto and dahlin playing the right

If it's risto and dahlin together that changes things of course

- homiedclown

I’m not talking about Dahlin on the right
Maybe that does happen

I’m wondering what makes u think Samuelsson is ready for 20min a night in the top4
I don’t think he will even play a game for the Sabres next year,
let alone be put in that role

Nothing that will get us a player even of RNH caliber. Edmonton would decline and ask for Guhle, in the very least.

Our only tradeable defenseman with any value is Ristolainen.

If you could do Ristolainen for Hall right now, would you?

I just realized Seguin is only 26. I thought he was 28.

We should absolutely offer them Ristolainen and go from there.

It's madness to not even consider it.

Botts guy
And he had a first Rd draft grade

This is assuming McCabe or scandella is moved and dahlin plays on the right

Pilut is his guy too
And he started in Rochester, and is probably getting sent back when ppl get healthy

U have Samuelsson leaping over Pilut,
and Guhle,
and McCabe/Scandella- we probably keep 1 of them, right?

And in year 2,
playing 20min a night

I think you’re expecting WAY WAY too much out of a kid playing College hockey right now
See: Mittelstadt, Casey
And Samuelsson isn’t graded anywhere near the talent level of Mitts

U gotta give him a few years
Botts has made it well known that he like to develop players in the minors

If Skinner wants to play hardball and not sign for around $8M ship him at the deadline for another 1st and we still win the trade. Hope the Blues pick up a few wins and give us the 11th overall pick. Stay the course here and whatever happens, happens. Hopefully Nylander and Olofsson get a couple games up with the big club to get a taste and have a big playoff run with Rochester.

Last year was the only year he played less then 76 games. That’s not quite bogo level of injured.

I’m not so sure about Olofsson as an NHL player
I’d be willing to dangle him and Thompson if there’s other GMs that are interested

And yeah, we’d get a 1st + for Skinner...
which would be nice
But we are already looking for at least 1 more top6 scorer
Trade him & we need at least2

The best thing that could happen for this team is finishing in the bottom 10.

Actually pilut was a Murray guy

Kept his word and signed with Botts

Botts likes him a lot

Ship sailed on guhle

There is a reason why Botts loaded up on ld

My guess is dahlin is moving to the right full time next year

Pilut is puck mover on 3rd pair

Rookie will be stay at home d man for second pair
