Glen Hall or Jacques Plante over Fuhr. Pronger over both MacInnis and Stevens, Doug Harvey more accomplished than either as well. Though this depth shows even more how having Blues ranked so low is just ridiculous, unless each player can only be on the team they are most identified with. In which case, take Pronger off the Flyers, Oilers, and Ducks roster.

Yeah, and Joe Mullen with the Penguins where he won more Cups and played more seasons. Either players get put on one team, or anywhere they played. Can't have it both ways, and right now there is no standard.

Pretty easily. See, who would be able to assemble the best team from all former players of the franchise has absolutely nothing to do with which franchise has won the most Cups. It's like me saying Islanders can't possible be considered the best because their arena sucks. One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other, which is why you are the only one trying to bring it up.

i wont disagree that the parameters could be better(especially not limiting players to the teams where they were most successful) but in the blues case half of the players that are listed werent never won anything with the blues

its like adding phil esposito, gretzky, jagr and messier to the rangers all played for the rangers, but what did they win at least messier did win a title. the blues have never even come close

Bourque was a Norris finalist in his only full year in Colorado. His point totals were down relative to his totals with the Bruins because he was 1000 years old and he was playing near the peak of the dead puck era.
