Lemieux > Gretzky, Crosby > messier, jagr > kurri, Coffey = Coffey, maf > fuhr. Doesn’t add up ek. - ChrisMS

Weight, Arnott, Guerin, Damphousse, Draisaitl, Nuge, Simpson, Tikkanen, Oates, Nicholls, Graves, Nilsson, Peca, Samsonov,
Lowe, Huddy, Gregg, Smith, Klefbom, Larsson, J Smith
I think the "new blood" on the Oilers (McDavid, Leon, Nuge, Klefbom, Larsson, Hall, Eberle, etc.) put the Oilers over the top.
I'm also biased that McDavid>Crosby and Gretzy>Lemieux, which PIT fans might not agree.
I have my doubts about Montreal and Boston however! - JLO961
Lol. No doubt you have some good young players, but to say the new blood put the Oilers over the top when the new blood can't qualify for playoffs is pretty ridiculous. |

Just out of curiosity, how does a list for New Jersey not have John MacLean on it? The guy had 347 g, 354 a = 701 PTS. He also had 53 GWG's & 98 PPG's & a Stanley Cup on his resume as Devil too.
What are your thoughts???? |

That you’re putting too much stock into a poopty list by a third rate website. |

Jets are way too low on that list:
Steen-Hawerchuk-Maclean
Hull-Nilson-Hedberg
Tkachuk-Zhamnov-Selanne
Laine-Scheifele-Wheeler
Housley-Lindstrom
Numminen-Byfuglien
Morrissey-Ellett
Khabibulin
Hellebyuck
Mix and match the forwards however you like, can't beat that team!

I don't think you're grasping the requirements of this exercise. It's not best team, it's best all time roster. |

Yeah, yeah, get your digs in
Just lookin at all time rosters. Jersey’s forwards seem lacking. Marty is arguably top 3 all time in net, but I just don’t think they hang with a few others behind them when it comes to scoring. - Hesh_
Don't forget about John MacLean, Pat Verbeek, Brendan Shanahan, Kirk Mueller, Neal Broten, Claude Lemiex, Jamie Langenbrunner, Jason Arnott, John Madden, Stephan Richer and Peter Stasny. All superior offensive players |

Agree completely....see above. A bigger WHY - is why would Holik be on this list? He was a 3rd liner |

How does Pronger count for the Oilers but Gretzky doesn’t count for the Blues?
Oates - Gretzky - Hull
Pronger/Stevens - McInnis
Fuhr
There’s no way that’s only #19. |

They’re really nice players. They’re still not quite good enough when put against other all-time rosters
And superior is stretching it with a few of those. |

That lineup is so talented and deep at every position that it's borderline ridiculous.

Pittsburgh has the best top line, but Montreal and Detroit are close and have better defense / goaltending. |

Tocchet, Mullen, Staal, Nedved, Trottier, Iginla, Palffy, - RoloTahmasee
A pretty good team but it has nothing on the wings, that 02 cup winning team was the most stacked team ever and it doesn't even include Gordy and all the red wings greats |
