He's hardly the only one.

True, teams back to watching instead of playing

Can't believe it's 1-1

Haven't watched every period this yr but can't remember as many turnovers by the Hawks in all 3 zones. ........ Lucky to go into the 2nd even at 1.

Can tell this is a Trotz coached club. Excellent positioning and structure, it has a lot to do with the Hawk coughs of the puck. ........ Glad to see a superstar bolt and the team plays better. Nice story the Isles.

Fors has had a bounce back game, I think. Great positioning and breaking up plays. Seabs has stopped a few shots too.

I was surprised in the break that Jammer wanted them to dump and chase...seems like every time they have dumped it, they lose the race to the puck and the Islanders turn it the other way.

Yea he has. But Gus has been awful tonight and why the hell isn't DeBrincat up with Kane and Strome? Anisimov does nothing.

Also, how many times will the Hawks be thrown out of the faceoffs tonight?

This is just a poopty game all the way around, it's amazing to be 1-1

Perfect example was the PP with about 8mins to go. Didn't work 3 times there, why would it work this time? Only way it works is if you've got skaters with speed who are willing to crash and bang to get the puck back

Whiners everywhere. Just another game thread for this board. We could be up 9-0 and some of you clowns would find something to complain about.

Top line has been rolling. Kahun with the goal, I think they find the back of the net again.

They are going, but I'm not entirely sure Saad is going hard enough. I'm not a coach, but I think if I was on the bench I'd give Perlini a couple shifts with Toews and Kahun and see if his good play can continue. Maybe it pushes Saad into high gear to take a couple shifts down on line 4.

He fights the puck, that's what it looks like to me.

He seems to be over-doing with the puck more than not going hard enough.

Saad has the boxing gloves on again and I agree he's not going hard enough.

Fair enough, just doesn't seem like he has it completely. I would like to see more of that north south speed from him. I like it better when he is looking to drive the net.

AEL - that was why I said that Gus might be part of a rotation in the press box. Yes he has been playing better, but he is an adventure in his own zone to say the least.

Keith-Seabrook is an actual pairing? I thought that was just from a partial change.

I think that is true about most of our D tonight. I think Murphy has been the only one having a good game. Giveaways from the blueline all night long.
