That's pretty horrible, but he did "fix" the Manning move, and Strome/Perlini for Schmaltz is at least a draw and the Hawks gain more cost certainly, so edge to Bowman on that one, though slight. FAR from me to defend Bowman, but lets see how he handles the rest of this season.

As far as trading off assets to get rid of contracts, that's part of Stan's MO, almost as prevalent as giving out NTCs.

That idiotic money grab hockey game for the NHL really broke up a nice run by the HAWKS .I swear with all the off ice crap going on around that game broke up some nice rhythm the HAWKS were getting into . Still got a point on the road against a team playing very well of late . NYI have some great talent young players ,and are buying into Trotz game plan .They could shock some come playoff time , if their goaltending get resolved, like it appears to be doing .Time to lay a beat down on Pitt ,I will lose it if Delia is not playing .. .Stan did mention they were Q guy's so their is that also . And Vermette ?? the one who had to be allowed out of the press box were Q had him playing during the playoffs ,Ya Q really seemed on board with that move .

Vinny on a very bad team ,and battling some nagging injuries this year .He is a good extremely fast player who speed and hockey IQ could have been very useful around here . Hartman another player that I believe would have been better served if not stunted by Q Neanderthal coaching techniques .Although Stan did a great job getting a 1st and prospect for Hartman ..

Team is finding it way ,it may be to late this year as the coaching change should have been made in the off season or earlier .
