Who do you target for a goalie and what are you willing to give up?

Jimmy Howard? Don't think it would cost much since he is in the last year of his contract. Doesn't have to take over as our #1 goalie since we can roll with Rittich but just has to be better than Smith...

Difference in tonight's game is we needed a timely save or two from Smith end the third tied up but meh

What a fcking damn shame. If smith couldve made a fcking save it was a win for the flames. He cost us yet another game. Flames kept pushing and that piece of sh!t fcking blew it. Fcking waive him.

Rittich is fine. No need to make a stupid trade quite yet.

No one's asking for a stupid trade but we need a better backup. I have full confidence in Rittich as our starter right now but Smith has been awful for the vast majority of the year and I'm tired of seeing the Flames lose games they should win because Smith was in the net.

I'm not saying we go out and trade for Price or something, just a solid backup.

I’d take a fuking pylon right now over Mike Smith. Not asking for a absolute show stopper just someone who can come in a give a solid game every once in awhile.

Yeah I don’t think you need a starter I feel Dave has earned that right but getting a quality back up would certainly work wonders for you guys....someone who can start some games in case of injury or just to give Dave a rest

Again, I'm not saying we go out and get a star goaltender. We don't even need to go out and get a great goaltender. He just has to be decent enough to be able to play a few games here and there and actually stop some pucks when we need him to. Smith hasn't done that this season.

I suspect the Leafs and Tampa will be in on a quality back up as well....price might go up based on that alone

All we need is a capable back up. Anybody. Anybody would be an upgrade over smith.
