Canada- Finland will probably be a more exciting game then the Canucks- Sens - manvanfan
As least we can switch back and forth while recording both. |

tavares is the only recent high priced UFA i can think of that hasn't been a bad move for the acquiring team, and even then its debatable for the hit/term
panarin could be ok but im wary on everyone else |

Ideally would finally give Bo a winger with a bit of talent and some edge/PP ability on unit 2.
I feel so bad for Horvat watching him go out there game in and out with bottom 6 players. Yet the dude is finding ways to make it work.
Again, fantasy land and no idea what the actual contract would look like. - Lindenis#1
Bo needs himself a dynamic winger instead of carrying his line solo. I’d pay Panarin what he wants. Stone i still see as more possible & would fit in here great. |

I’m probably in the minority here, but I like Panarin more than Stone, big fan of both players though |

You can pay the sticker price on Stone and come away happy with what he gets. Dudes like the second coming of Marian Hossa.
I wouldn't want Ferland, Simmonds, or most of the UFA's out there unless you managed some bargain or got a gift on a short term deal.
Eberle might fly under the radar a little but people would complain about him the way they do with Goldobin. "Sure he got 61 points, but they were all bad points. Why doesn't he fight or hit?!" |

It comes down to money & if either signs here. If Panarin is truthful about a Russian community we have that to a decent degree. Stone would come 1-3m cheaper. |

If Petey wasn't such a PP weapon alone, I'd be more on your side. But with Hughes, Boeser, Horvat and EP you should be fine on the PP. Give someone who isn't Newell Brown a chance and it'll be fine.
I think Stone's $$ will be a bit less and he's basically Marian Hossa so it really frees up Sutter as a trade piece and would make Horvat's line MUCH better as a matchup line. |

The difference won't be much. Panarin could grab himself a tasty 9.5 from someone and I wouldn't see Stone coming in at much less than 8.5 himself. |

That’s my only concern with Stone, he’s not a great skater as younger guy, what happens when he loses a step? |

Stone’s 2-way game & scoring is rare in today’s game. Great value & built for PO’s. His style leads by example...7-8.5m
Lock out incentivesized.
Panarin probably gets 10m or more.

He would have said he will deal with contract negotiations at the end of the season if he had thoughts of leaving.
