A Japanese woman was having a laser surgery on her cervix when she farted, igniting the laser and setting herself on fire
That stinks - VANTEL
the fart was ignited, not the laser, or should I just go back to the woodpile? |

As one that has said, "I would be happy if Benning made 2 or 3 small trades involving fringe players", I have been pretty happy with this return and look forward to the next dump of fringe nhl player.
I don't really care if it is Granlund Gaunce Goldobin Del Zotto Pouliot Schaller Gagner Biega. |

Of those only Goldobin has upside with the rest being not in any plans for here. |

I hate you all and whenever anything good happens to any canucks fans but... Pettersen is really (frank)ing good. And I really hopped he fell to wherever the leafs drafted that year which is ridiculous but congrats you guys got the #1 pick at 7 or 8. Wherever you picked. I'm to lazy to check. |

Dobsons stick explodes he had an open net, come down the other way and 3 bounces it in the net, ot goal was deflected, its unfortunate but he moves on. This Canadian team wasn't very good this year. - Bettmanhatesus
Dobson is overrated.
He'll be a solid number 4. |

No one complaining about Guddy or Hutton these days and Edler has been very good. If you add Hughes to the mix then you pretty well have 5 of your 7 D for next year and really only need to acquire one more top 6
I don't think Edler or Hutton are going anywhere. |

Whole D core looks better plus Marky. Whenever you have the goalie having confidence in the D and vice versa things improve.
Still want Edler traded though...lol
oh and Nucker's boy pool-a-lot who barfed up the puck on that one goal...he can go anytime |

I said it before I don't care if he goes or stays but you need to replace him if you do. He is worth more than a late first so you need to find a trade partner willing to give up a player a pick and a prospect. Then you need to replace him in the summer and spend 7 mil for probably 6 years. Not to mention but he is still Canucks best Dman.
I think his chances of being traded are growing smaller and smaller.

That'd be as big an anchor as Loui.
Ferland hasn't produced jack outside a run with Monahan and Gaudreau in Calgary and is legit invisible unless Aho is bouncing pucks in off his Richard and balls. - Lindenis#1
Correct.
When he was on Aho's line before his latest concussion, the dude was an absolute wrecking ball.
He's been not very good since. |

The reality is Canucks will probably jump up in the standings about 7 spots with a very young team. Usually if this happens you tweak 2-3 players not full changes of half the roster. Demko Hughes and maybe one or two more and that will probably be it. You also have ZacMac Gaudette Dahlen OJ on the Comets |

Agreed + whoever we get this year in the pipe as well, I also think Lind has a big year in the AHL next year. A few guys traded, grab a couple new ones in FA.

Looking at the schedule, I would think Demko gets the start next Thursday against the Coyotes.
Leafs called up 2 minor-leaguer goalies, after placing Anderson on IR.
Should make for a fun game on Saturday, when we whip their butts😁 |

Hutton has continued to be awful. Has become a bit better of a puck mover, still sucks at d and is a complete liability. |

Even as a Benning hater I can’t see what people are upset about. In this one case he turned nothing in to potentially something, which right now is more than nothing. It probably will turn out to be nothing in the end, but that’s still nothing for nothing which is a win in my books
Also, even if Leivo turns into the next Leipsic, that was still a good move. Bennsey is 2 for 2 with two solid singles. He’s quietly becoming the Ichiro of hockey managers. |

Not sure how many watched more than 1 Finland game, but I watched 3 during this tournament so far.
This Utunen kid impressed me in all 3 so far.
He may not be flashy, so he flies under the radar, but he is very smart with the puck, good body positioning, good stick placement, reminded me a bit of Chris Tanev, who is a pretty good defenseman.
Also, Finland has some nice draft eligible players on that team.👍 |

Nice analogy.
Any upgrade whether it be a player or a pick is always a good thing, whenever rebuilding. |

4-2 Canucks.
Bo and Jake have a turn at leading the team on the scoresheet. |
