First Schneider and now Nilsson. The Canucks just give talent away. Will the madness ever end? - bloatedmosquito

Benning is walking in the right direction, he's still taking baby steps. - A_SteamingLombardi

That’s an internet thing, not just a Canuck fanbase thing. To expect more is just silly. |

I have no worries about the trade, but isn't it weird that they'd throw in Archie and not some other AHLer considering how much he means to the team in Utica? - NorthNuck
They prioritized moving Nilsson and replacing archie and demko in the AHL, i like it! |

I don't care that Nilsson was traded. I think an Ottawa 6th round pick for a team needing a goalie and getting back a younger still capable Ahl call up player was not enough.
Let's be real, it's a Benning trade. There isn't many very good trades Benning does and if someone else made that trade. We ALL know someone else would have got more. - manvanfan
Are you kidding me. Holy poop.

Holy poop, stop posting. This is a moronic post. If you actually thought Nilsson was worth anything, then youre delusional. I'm not exactly sure what you saw in him the past 2 seasons in Vancouver was, but clearly, the guy is AHL calibre at best.
And please do not point to TDL deals, they arent relevant in any landscape other than the TDL.
A 6th rounder, a roster spot and his 2.5 mill off the books is worth more than his actual ability.......thats got to tell you something..... - chompsey

Imagine a world where I care what people on the internet think. Ok, now you can do anything you want with that because that's you're world.

Something has to give once Dipietro is done with junior hockey as well. This is a long term outlook taking place at the right time. |

Michael Hutchinson for 5th round pick to Toronto a week ago. Florida got to clear a contract space.
Please don't try and tell me that Hutchinson is better then Nilsson either.

A 5th from TO compared to a 6th from OTT is like a 5-10 pick difference. Is that what you’re upset about? |

I once made the mistake of saying that I would like to see Subban get a legitimate shot at the NHL. That was three years ago and it’s still a thing on here. When Don first arrived he was positive about the Canucks direction and that started the whole circle jerk, pom pom, lemmings phenomenon.
I won’t even mention what happened to Dragon.
Just have to expect to get hazed at every opportunity. |

That’s a good analogy. Like a snail, JB is progressing, but it is excruciatingly slow... from a fans perspective. |
