and this always seems to happen with Canada. They overlook their most skilled players and go with the "vets" because they played last year.. So (frank)ing dumb. They should forgo all the disciplined stuff and just let the kids have fun one last time before turning pro.

If Hunter would have put Lafreniere, Frost, Tippet out on that penalty shot it's far more likely they win. What does it help by going with Comtois? I bet Comtois will be a third liner in the NHL. Go with the phenoms, the guys who'll be a better storyline someday. I hope Hunter never gets an NHL job.

I guess you didn't read the article about him coming to the Marlies last season and learning how to goalie, once he got a legit goalie coach?

Like I've said all along; his season has been better, by a wide margin, than DiPibackup's.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't disagree with it at the time. He's been one of Canada's best players. Morgan Frost probably would have been better but I can't knock the Cum-Thrice pick.

That being said, I've always been of the belief that whoever gets the call, should take the shot.
