Millen's narrative that the stretch pass isn't working is a complete misnomer on that play. It started when Brown didn't bother to skate the puck up to the redline himself, and instead gave it to a motionless Marner. Gee, thanks for the turnover, buddy! But then Matthews didn't help with that Gardineresque pass. |
