I guess what he's trying to say is that the Western picks were more reputation based than the Eastern picks. Not saying that I agree with him, but Giordano has arguably been the best dman in the entire Western conference so I can understand the frustration for Flames fans.

I'm more than happy having Gio slip under the radar same with the team. We are first in the Western conference and barely a word is said outside the Pacific division. We are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NHL and thats just fine.  |

Nylander will be just fine...he probably should have suited up for the Marlies for a few weeks before joining the Leafs. The guy is very talented but way behind where NHL players need to be at this point in the season. |

Nylander a struggles can be directly attributed to missing training camp and being out of NHL action for so long. This will hardly be his last chance and it’s silly to think that it would be. He may be a flop for the rest of the season but he will be back next year just fine. |

Why would the Flyers want Nylander? We already have JVR. That’s all we need is another guy who’s solely dependent on his line mates to create offense for him. He looks great right where he is. We need a Mariner NOT a Nylander 🤦🏻♂️
