don't think this was as bad as Matheson's at all but I would've liked to see the team ramp up the overall physicality after that play. Don't have to jump anyone, start fights, but just finish every check cleanly and ramp up the intensity. don't think that's too much to ask for.

Missed the game and just watched the highlight of Petterson getting tied up with Kotkaniemi.
Although a 2 minute penalty should have been called for interference or hooking, this type of play happens in every game around the world, just unfortunately, it happens to 1 of the Canucks few shining lights and our best offensive player.

I agree it wasn’t malicious and nice the kid came over to apologize but mannnn still would’ve been nice to have someone send a message that if someone’s going to be a nuisance like that to a star player they’ll hear about it. Didn’t need a fight, just let him know to think twice about how physical he’ll be next time

Reminds me of watching Marchand, Burrows, etc taking those little liberties and teams letting them do it

Actually im surprised by the level headness tonight. 2 minute call is the worst most have said. Push back in the form of agressive play would have been nice.
