If winning the Calder Cup is the priority, they could demote Sanheim, Patrick and Linblom to help out. But that would not be good for their development. - Feanor
You wouldn’t send them down when the Flyers season was over? Right now Patrick and company are Flyers.

I apologize to those who read this comment earlier with the amount of auto corrects and words I misspelt myself and never connected. I know I do it often. I’m always on and off the page.
But that is kind of why I question the signing in the first place. It seems like it was reactionary without really thinking where he would play.
I almost feel like I would have paid a little more then what Calgary did for a Derek Ryan to fill a 3c role then pay for what I did for van Reimsdyk without a real plan on where he would play.
You knew Simmonds also needed PP time to be effective so it just didn't seem to make a ton of sense. - J35Bacher
We needed depth and scoring on the wing. We also knew we were without a third line center. So in my opinion it was always a no brainer to split Coots and G, and put JvR on the top line. Hasn’t happened. I think one of the issues with PP is that Coots doesn’t play his position like Hartnell and Schenn did, which they were both successful at.
Let me break it down for screaming that they should trade JvR and Simmonds. Ron Hextall couldn’t get a third line center last season in trade or free agency. What exactly can effectively replace both Simmonds and JvR’s production next season? This team already has holes. What does draft picks do to make us better next year? Is there a belief that Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost will come in here next season and improve the team instantly?

I'd consider lindblom. Patrick needs to get healthy I give this kid the time off. Sanheim is playing 20+ a night for the big club and succeeding wt it so negative there.

Voracek is looking a lot like Jeff Carter right now. That fifth goal was 100% Carter like. When he was a flyer he would miss the net countless times which lead to a rush and a goal against.

Since we are talking music and the Allman Brothers Band have been listed and Im a Supernatural fan heading to the next SPN convention in Seattle in Feb...
Jensen Ackles (Dean), Richard Speight (Trickster\Gabriel) and Louden Swain (fronted by Rob Benedict (God and Chuck Shurley) doing a pretty solid cover of Whipping Post.

Best show on TV for 14 seasons now. That is right, I said 14.

Gotta be sure to get shots on net - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Missing the net can certainly be a poor play and lead to counter attack for the opposition. This was a common complaint when Carter was a Flyer. I repeatedly crunched the numbers. Carter's percentage of missed shots was no different than any other top goal scorer.
I don't even want to talk about this team anymore. It's just too depressing. So, with that in mind, here is a list of 10 albums I can listen to at any time and they never get old:
Cream: Disraeli Gears
The Beatles: Abbey Road
The Allman Brothers: Live at the Fillmore East
Jimi Hendrix: Axis Bold As Love
Yes: Fragile
Genesis: A Trick of the Tail
The Kinks: Misfits
Rush: Moving Pictures
Pearl Jam: Ten
Rush: Clockwork Angels - BiggE
Now this is something I can get into, not this hockey team.
Jane's Addiction- Nothing's Shocking
The Cure- Pornography
Beastie Boys- Check your Head
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion- Orange
AC/DC- Back In Black
Echo & The Bunnymen-Ocean Rain
Interpol- Antics
Nine Inch Nails- Broken
Nirvana- Nevermind
Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3- Ole Tarantula
and one more for good luck
RATM- RATM
Bonus points if you can name the band that I got my avatar from.
I do not like the Allman Brothers Band one bit. Not at all.
Interestingly, though, I love Gov't Mule. - Scoob
Loved the early Allmans up to the point where Duane then Berry were gone..
Did some shows with them their first two tours..
They were innovators...burned like a hot flame for those years
Never got into Govt Mule, though Tedeschi Trucks are great for current acts that are related genre
