JVR should throw a glove. At least he'd be noticeable for a second.

That's my favorite Hartnell moment.

For me, it's tying Game 6 of the SCF. Second is him beating up Avery.

I will always remember him in Pittsburgh giving that Hulk Hogan lookalike the "Can You Hear Me Now"

That was peak Flyers/Pens, heading directly into the playoffs

Those 2007-2013 Pens games were wild.

I really, really miss that feeling. You'd walk into the building, and you just knew that some poop was gonna go down and a war was inevitable. Now I walk in and it's very quiet.

The great thing about this is I see other lists and think, "oh poop, I forgot that..."

Also, was between Mother's Milk and Uplift Mofo Party Plan for favorite RHCP album.

I was at a game where Penguin Tocchet fought Ryan McGill in the pregame skate.

Maybe 1994?

All good moments. Fighting Phaneuf right after scoring was great. I loved Hartnell as a Flyer.

Although I think Blood Sex Sugar Magic was their best album, it's not my favorite, because they had gone from pissed off sex-fueled 20-year-olds to less pissed off sex-fueled 30-year-olds.

Uplift Mofo Party Plan was their first good album (in my opinion) and the title track and No Chump Love Sucka are fantastic. But yeah, Mother's Milk is just a better album.

I don't remember that, but I'm guessing McGill got his ass kicked.

And even that pales to the vibe in the Spectrum in the 70s when the Rags, Bruins or Habs came in or in the 80s vs the Rags, Isles, Oilers or Caps.

I truly miss those days. Flyers hockey at the Spectrum in the 70s and 80s was special.

7.5% chance to make the playoffs
5.3% chance to earn 1st overall

Regulation loss Saturday and a win by the Canadiens and a few the bottom dwellers it goes to 5.8% to make playoffs and 6.1% 1st overall.

I hope they don't lose Saturday since I'm taking my daughter to her first regular-season game.

After that, whatever.

Anyone listen to anything from this century or does everyone pop in the same Pearl Jam cd every time they get in the car?

I would like them to be a more competitive team in and out and especially our kids to get back on track. Even if that results in not getting 1st overall.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though.

With the exception of epic metal...nope, everything pre-2000.

Also, Pearl Jam had at least 2 good CDs.

He and Dave Navarro definitely made for an interesting duo.

Navarro blew me away with his playing when I saw them on the first Lollapalozza tour
