I hope they don't lose Saturday since I'm taking my daughter to her first regular-season game.

After that, whatever.

Anyone listen to anything from this century or does everyone pop in the same Pearl Jam cd every time they get in the car?
- StepfordSam

lol - I do dig nearly all of Kanye's albums start-to-finish. Does that count?

With the exception of epic metal...nope, everything pre-2000.

Also, Pearl Jam had at least 2 good CDs.

- jmatchett383

Yup - Ten and Vs. After that they got progressively less good.

I will always remember him in Pittsburgh giving that Hulk Hogan lookalike the "Can You Hear Me Now"

That was peak Flyers/Pens, heading directly into the playoffs

- AllInForFlyers

I was with a group of 10 friends at a dinner and the topic of the best playoff series came up and unanimous it was 2012 Flyers vs Penguins. I'm the only Flyers fan in the group.

Give me your list. I like hearing new things. All my music now is from the arena, and even that is stale.

Although whatever they were playing during warmups last night was just brutally depressing and why they'd play that to hype anyone up shoes the game experience people are whacked too.

I listen to some older stuff with my pre game playlist. It includes

Headstrong - Trapt
Face Down - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Bleed it Out - Linkin Park
One Step Closer - Linkin Park
Song 2 - Blur (Classic)
Rollin - Limp Bizkit
My Way - Limp Bizkit
My Generation - Limp Bizkit
Last Resort - Papa Roach
Scars - Papa Roach
Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
Enter the Sandman - Metallica
Bodies - Drowning Pool
Hell Yeah - Rev Theory
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Im Shipping to Boston - Drop Kick Murphy's
1985 - Bowling for Soup
Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm
All Star - Smash Mouth
Rock you like a Hurricane - Scorpions

Those songs get me pumped before a game. The stuff I have thats older than that doesnt really fit the mood.

A lot as long as you dont listen to the generic garbage on most radio stations.

Its cycle of life though. You always feel as if the stuff you grew up with is better than new stuff. Happens with every generation.

Like it. I'd run through a wall after listening. Not a Bizkit fan but that song Break Stuff fires me up. You should know that I also get pumped hearing O Canada.

Its weird. There arent a lot of bands out there I like. Its usually just a couple songs here and there. The only bands I really like these days are:

Billy Talent
Rise Against
Three Days Grace
Sum 41

Everything else seems like it is hit or miss. There is usually just one or two songs per album

I came of age in the 90's.

I'd rather suffer through Ariana Grande or Drake than Pearl Jam.

If you like good old straight up southern rock, check out Blackberry Smoke. They remind me of Skynyrd when they first started out. If you like reggae infused rock, check out Il Rendition. They’re a local south Jersey band that just got signed to a label, but you can find there music online.

Yea but you didnt like Pearl jam in the 90s. I was born 1990. I still prefer the things I liked as a kid\teen than I do today. To this day my friends and I still talk about great 90s adult swin shows like UnderGrads and Clone high. Many people also prefer old South Park to new South park as a couple of examples. Same applies to video games. Does anything really top the iconic Zelda Ocarina of Time or Major Mask or Banjo Kazooie, NHL 95, Golden Eye ect ect
