I just traded for Jack Hughes in my fantasy league.

I never thought he could be wearing orange and black when I did so.

Good stuff, Graffiti is my fave Zep album and I love everything Ozzy did with Rhoades on guitar.

Yup, agreed and in regards to Hart, the sooner he goes back to LHV this season, the better. He's better off with the Phantoms right now than with this hideous bunch.
- BiggE

This is why I’m against bringing up any kids. We’re out of the playoffs and the phantoms are in the hunt.

We all were pretty proud when Richards and Carter won the Calder Cup and rightfully so. It’s building a winning mindset.

If winning the Calder Cup is the priority, they could demote Sanheim, Patrick and Linblom to help out. But that would not be good for their development.

I don't even want to talk about this team anymore. It's just too depressing. So, with that in mind, here is a list of 10 albums I can listen to at any time and they never get old:

Cream: Disraeli Gears
The Beatles: Abbey Road
The Allman Brothers: Live at the Fillmore East
Jimi Hendrix: Axis Bold As Love
Yes: Fragile
Genesis: A Trick of the Tail
The Kinks: Misfits
Rush: Moving Pictures
Pearl Jam: Ten
Rush: Clockwork Angels

- BiggE

bold = I agree

I'd replace some of your others with:

Genesis: Duke
Supertramp: Crime of the Century
Grover Washington, Jr.: Live at the Bijou
Spyro Gyra: Catching the Sun
Linkin Park: Reanimation
The Cure: Disintigration

They could actually get some help if Allison, Lacysnki and Farabee decide to turn pro

My Fave Genesis albums, in no particular order:

Seconds Out
Nursery Crimes
Foxtrot
A Trick of the Tail
The Wind and the Wuthering

Honestly, once Hackett left the band, I think they lost something and got a little too pop for my tastes. Still some very good stuff here and there, but something overall was just missing.

The path to becoming a top team is not trades or free agency. The path is to continue to draft and develop and adding younger players. Supplement with trades and free agency. A properly built team should have minimal trades and free agent signings.
- MJL

I agree. I didn't want to throw away the idea of drafting. I meant you can still develop well if the players you trade turn into picks.

*yes, I know, but it was their major label debut so I'm counting it. Fight me if you want, but you'll lose.

Completely agree (re: Hackett).

Speaking of Genesis, Fifth of Firth...amazing Tony Banks piano.

Very underrated album, imho.

A couple times a year I play their albums in chronological order while at work. So good.

Saw them on their 2007 tour. Had floor seats. Amazing. Too bad Hackett wasn't there to do the solo but Stuermer more than holds his own.

Solid list, for me I go.

Opeth : Blackwater Park (The namesake song from this album is one of The best metal songs I have heard with a list 4 to 5 mins that is just heavy as (frank))

Dead Can Dance: Within the Realm of a Dying Sun

Brendan Perry: Eye of the Hunter

Pink Floyd: Animals

Pink Floyd: Meddle (I still think putting on my headphones and listening to Echoes is one the best musical experiences)

The Animals: Greatest Hits (hard pressed to find a better song then their version of House of the Rising Sun)

Samhain: November Coming Fire (Danzig's three bands have influenced me as much as anything musically but this is my favorite)

John Williams : Greatest hits (Star Wars, Raiders, ET, Superman, Saving Private Ryan, Harry Potter plus others on one album)

Movie Score: The Village

Movie Score: Black Hawk Down

Movie Score : The Last Samurai

Movie Soundtrack : The Crow (great songs and atmosphere from my youth)
