Over time, I have learned to stay away from poop I really don't know about. I dont know anything about "low denisty masses" . And I bet hearing that phrase can tip a guy over, or at least make him reel. So Im not gonna tell you anything about a "low density mass" . But I'll tell you this, becuase I've seen it, and I lived it, and I (frank)ing know it: good poop happens to good people. So don't sweat what you don't know about "low density masses" @HBFriend, just know that you are a good person, and because of it, good poop will happen to you. We won't know what form that will take, but we see it, and live it, and know it. Good poop will happen for you. I'm around if I can help. Kaiser
When you C-Suckers want to argue about 5v5 and when to change lines, and what GM made a bad trade, just remember there is real poop out there. |

Of course as they should. The U.S has been developing some major talent these past few years. The Olympic’s should be much more interesting to watch now.
That is if Bettman ever lets the NHL go again.... - Pegullaville
This is a whole goddamn can of worms to open, but here it goes: I understand to an extent why Bettman didnt want to go, aside from the time change. The IOC doesn't cover injury costs, and the impact of losing a guy in the Olympics is real. I'll be honest, I loved watching Miller in Vancouver, but I care more about the Sabres winning the Stanley Cup than than the US winning gold, so if the Sabres are bona fide contenders in the coming years, I'm fine if Eichel can't play for the US. Sure it's fun, but I'm fine watching amateurs duke it out as well. Allow AHL players to play. I don't need the stars in the Olympics. Unpopular opinion, I'm sure |

I agree with you. The AHL players in the Olympics would be cool with me. |

If it's ok for the nhl to shut down to play the Olympics in Canada it should be ok to shut it down anywhere though

When it was in PyeongChang, the time difference was pretty wacky. There would be way fewer viewers watching live. That and the IOC refusing to cover insurance costs made it a pretty easy business decision for the league. If the players feel strongly, it could be a big fight in the next CBA negotiation |

Have to think he’s the next call up. He needs 5-10 games to really show the Sabres what he’s all about. We need to know what we have with him. Or at least show case for a trade. |

I guess my big beef is
1. Bettman wants to make it international
regular season games in europe, etc
so if it's ok to play in the olympics in salt lake, canada, japan and italy, and shut the nhl down for a few weeks
it should be ok to do it anytime, wherever it is
nothing IMO will be as special as USA winning in 1980, but figure out if the NHL is going to be a part of it, or not and move forward with a clear plan, no matter where the games are going to be held |

agreed, but don't change the rules when it comes over here
keep it consistent one way or the other
once they got in, they should have stayed in IMO instead of pick and choosing when to participate

Mikhail Sergachev is a very good D man for an up tempo team
Tyson Jost is already a decent 3rd line center |
