I thought he played admirably against the Panthers. It's a thankless job to try to step into Eichel's shoes, and they tried Rodrigues there. It worked 1/2 nights.

Samson is the least of this teams worries, the least.

Negatives - Sheary, Pommer, Okposo, Sobotka all just suck at providing offense

Positives- Pilut is a top 4 D man. He should never sit again. Larsson is playing really well. And Thompson is going to be a solid, dangerous player once he get's a center.

I would put 37 in the press box or Rochester at this point

Eichel or no Eichel, this team has to many 3rd and 4th line players and a 2nd line center that has no business playing on the 2nd line.

This is 100% fake news. The first line scored 3 goals against Florida and 71 didn't have a point. 53 and 23 generated their own changes on the night with 71 being mostly invisible. He literally fell down on a 2 on 1 with Skinner and lost Hoffman on a Panthers goals. His passing was complete s**t all night as well. Yes, he did well on the dot.
