A guy like NAK deserves an extended look, there is little else that he can accomplish at the AHL level. I also want to see Morin get into some games this year. Other than that, I’d leave the kids in LHV. They’ll be better off.

I'd like to see Aube-Kubel get another look. He did not stand out to me previously albeit with limited ice time.

I agree. Morin needs NHL minutes. He'll bring that snarl we desperately need. In terms of other guys coming up I think it will depend on our holes as trade deadline approaches. We will be making moves. If most we get back are picks, then we will have to fill holes.

I'm looking forward to seeing Morin..

I don't think he is the savior, hell I think he will be a 4,5,6 dman.

What I think he will bring which this team lacks almost everywhere is some mean and nasty.

i hope fletcher trades Simmons soon and between now and the draft trades anyone he does not think is part of the future. I hope that includes voracheck. No room anymore for players who do not play as hard on defense or at least trying to get back to back check then they play on offense. I am tired of seeing the back checkers take their last stride outside of the blueline and coast in the rest of the way.

I hope fletcher does not try to prop this team up this year. Better to finish last then twentieth this year. Hopefully they can get an impact player at the draft and be aggressive reshaping this team in the offseason.

So many times over the last few weeks, I have seen Simmonds or Vorachek coasting into the zone on the backcheck, not taking the strides to catch up and perhaps break up a play, pass, clear a rebound, pick up a man to cover him and they just end up watching a goal being scored from 15 feet away....

Agreed. I still would like to see us add a Parayko or Trouba. A top pair, all situation guy.

Provy, Parayko
Sanheim, Myers/Hagg
Ghost, Morin

Aube-Kubel and Morin are exactly the two types of players that are missing. With Morin and Myers waiting to grab a roster spot, I think Mac’s days are numbered. I honestly believe he’s getting bought out this summer.

Those types of absolutely unnecessary penalties will sink a team. Could be ball back to offense but instead it's the red zone for Chicago.

Yeah, either throw it out of the back of the end zone or just protect the ball and take the sack
