The baseball team I follow just went full Holmgren. Traded for Kemp, Puig and Wood... Ugh. Only positive out of that trade was they unloaded Homer Bailey.

Perfect example of the team game the Flyers are playing. On one play, Sanheim is behind the Flyers net facing two Blues forecheckers. He make a great move and spins away from them and has literally no one to pass the puck to. So he has to rim it up the boards right to a Blue. Sanheim might've gotten charged with a give away there but it's undeserved. Blues are playing a much better team game with puck support and tight gaps and are controlling the neutral zone limiting the Flyers speed and making it easier for their defense to retrieve pucks. Which in turn limits the Flyers forecheck.

Last season was amazing.

Raffl was on 4 different lines in 5 or 6 games
Let him stay together with Weise and Laughton for at least 5 games even if it is only 4th line minutes

Yeah the excuse of poor play of player because he needs time to become BFFs with his linemates can be used only so much. Why has Raffl played well the last week then? Why did the 4th line play good against Calgary then? They are just having a terrible game.
