Giroux didn't come close to scoring and goal or setting one up. He did not play a good game along with pretty much the entire forward corps.

yes, i agree. but Simmonds was completely useless and has been a major problem all year long. at least Giroux was back on the play covering for the defense a few times and actually looks like he's trying. this isnt some witch hunt to run a good player out of town, it's a legitimate observation of objectively terrible play by a guy who is supposed to be a huge part of the heart of this team.

the whole team is a mess but Simmonds is beyond bad right now.

We give G more lenience because for most of the season he has been the entire offense. Simmer has been bad the whole season, so we lost our patience with him

Edit: I have also lost my patience with Weal, JvR, and Voracek. To me Jake is right up there with Simmer

I don’t think it matters anymore who’s responsible for this poop show. Hopefully the new GM can get this thing going in the right direction....build a team with a strong identity and get rid of guys that don’t buy in or don’t fit. I could careless who they trade at this point as long as it’s done to make this organization stronger.

Giroux has been guilty of lazy plays and poor efforts on the back check all season. In the Calgary game it was his bad change that led to the Gaudreau goal. The entire team is dysfunctional. Yes, it is a witch hunt to run a player out of town. After every loss he is called out repeatedly. The team has lost what 6 games in a row and is at the bottom of the NHL and you are actually trying to make this case? Seriously? There are lots if issues with this team. It is asinine and absurd for anyone to focus blame on one player with the game they played tonight and the way the team has played pretty much all season.

In the game tonight Voracek was one of the few players who played with any intensity. He was trying to make something happen all game but they're so disconnected as a team that everything is to the outside. Nobody in the middle of the ice.
