I’m sure he won’t be doing that. This season is pretty much done. I just think maybe they can move some of our 3o year olds and bring back some youth. I think Fletch will be in sell mode.

For anyone here or anywhere else insisting it’s best to wait until the deadline to move Simmonds is just plain ridiculous. He shows no sign of a pulse, isn’t finishing checks, he’s losing puck battles (when he’s not stumbling and falling on the ice after being untouched), and adding nothing whatsoever to the roster. Get what you can for him NOW! I’d much rather have a 3rd or 4th line player who gives a rat’s a** and is hungry to compete. Odds were slim anyway the Flyers could get a 1st rd pick at the deadline (as some here have suggested — really?)...zero chance of that in light of the way Simmonds is playing now.

If Simmer does t step up and play physical against the Caps tomorrow, he deserves whatever Tom Wilson (legal or otherwise) dishes out.

I just want to move to happen sooner rather than later. It's pretty clear he's not going to be part of the future. Unless it's a gross underpayment to move him now I'd rather be done with it than risk losing him to injury and getting nothing.

2 Giveaways low level of intensity.

Coot Penalty was weak. JVR gets a little slack because he spent like a decade on another team.

No one is saying that these players are play much better but Simmonds is in a contract year and at this point its going to be hard to get any value from him

As much as I ragged on Bundy when he was paired with Rico it just worked. I see the same looking back at last year now with Provy and A Mac.

Well that might be true....but that’s what I’m hoping for.

In the game tonight Voracek was one of the few players who played with any intensity. He was trying to make something happen all game but they're so disconnected as a team that everything is to the outside. Nobody in the middle of the ice.
