and turned it over and was brought down to less than 15 minutes, AKA kinda the point Brando made.

Yes.. but you need to watch the game and not watch the game to have an opinion...

I'm gonna go ahead and continue celebrating Schlemko on waivers.

Weber does not carry the puck like Pk.

Puck moving defensemen will cause turnovers...because they have the puck.

Doughty leads all D in turnovers, followed by the Panthers' top pairing at 2 and 3.

2 terrible teams. So they get the "pass".

Maybe they wouldn't be so terrible if the D stopped turning the puck over?

BTW Petry is 4th

Why not? Armia is very good at retrieving pucks

You live with the good and the bad.

Of course if you are not a puck moving defenseman, you won't turn the puck over as much. But you are not helping the offense as much either.

Shaw was doing a good job in front of the net with them and was scoring goals. Will see what Armia can do with them.

Balances it out too, Byron is a better winger for Kotkaniemi, I think anyway

Absolutely, never minded Petry and I want him to do real good so Bergevin can flip him for a lot more than what he paid for him in the next 24 months

After just reading through the comments I can say I stand completely by what I wrote in this blog.

I didn't run down Subban but gave an honest appraisal of his play. Some are skewed by some points I did see in the comments though: personality, work for the city, etc. You cannot logically judge performance if you are still constrained by the "feels". Weber is a better D man then and now despite his age compared to Subban. They are just different players and I feel Weber is better because he brings it all, consistently, with no drama/need for spotlight.

I said to come at me and I'm glad to see ppl respectfully talk about it. Thanks for all of that. But Weber is better despite not pledging to help a foundation raise money over X amount of years and not blasting by all his teammates so he can launch a pretend arrow into the rafters followed by 4' windmill fist pump with 4 second lions roar so the Getty Images guy can get some new pics after his goals....
