Once the Skinner situation figures itself out, my next move if I were Botts would be to become sellers at the deadline. Get whatever we can for Sobotka, Scandella, Sheary, Hunwick, Nelson. If we can't sign Skinner trade him to the highest bidder as well.

The Atlantic ran a pretty good article this morning suggesting other teams might make young talent available out there and if that happens we should see if we can't figure out how to upgrade the roster with assets that will be able to contribute sooner than picks will.

That can still be done while getting whatever we can for the deadweight in the bottom 9. I think Guhle+ Nylander could bring in that said player. I think anyone on Rochester right now could be had in the right trade. We have a ton of picks in the next few years plus guys already drafted that will be vying for spots in Rochester.
