rooting for them all, 12 games in the ahl didn't sound like much of an opportunity but if he looked out of place for most of it then what can you do. as always, it is up to the player to show they deserve to play. hope he works on skating or whatever

I'm not really invested in what happens with Palmu, it's not like the odds aren't astronomical that he'd ever play in the NHL.

Like I said earlier, what is potentially concerning about it is that the coaching staff in Utica didn't effectively communicate what was expected of him. Could be a one off of course, but I don't like the idea of that happening with a high potential 1st or 2nd round pick.

I was listening to 650 before and Johnson said every player goes through hours and hours of video of what the Canucks are looking for even before they put on their skates and then Travis Green comes and speaks to them as a group and tells them what the Canucks want and expect. If they can not figure out what it is they need to do they can ask .

actions are louder the words. The kid didn't do squat in 12 games, and obviously didn't impress during practices. Not really sure what Cull would have said to him "you aren't getting it, you're sucking, that's why you are sitting up there and not playing".
