Well, Byron is now on that line so it's not the Finnish line anymore.

honestly that wasn't even the worst part. they kind of looked like they were recovering until Petry got himself in position to basically block Price off from attempting a save. it was probably one of the worst defensive sequences by an NHL player you'll ever see. i feel like Pete probably had 2 orgasms on that play.

😀

In all honesty, the offense is more of a concern... if they manage to even generate 1 goal and come away with a point, it wouldn't have been that devastating... You don't score, you don't win, it's a shame they let a solid Price performance go for nothing

oh absolutely. i don't recall a single great scoring chance in that game for Montreal. and Minnesota is not a very good team.

When the goalie is good the offense sucks.

When the goalie sucks the offense starts going.

it was always going to be impossible for them to keep up that frenetic pace for 82 games. and we knew that Domi/Tatar/Drouin weren't going to put up 80-point seasons and Gallagher wasn't going to score 50. the hope was that the regression wouldn't be so dramatic but unfortunately it appears to be.

Weber, Petry, Benn and Danault have been carrying the offense, that's probably not a good thing, it's down right alarming actually

Indeed. They normally play good against Detroit though. Maybe that'll spark the offense (that and the horrible Detroit D).
