Agreed and really gives you an idea of why Hexy ran certain things the way he did. |

It's in DC tonight and I assume their fans are still paying face value for the privilege of watching their team. - cdearth23
$15 bucks is cheapest ticket for Thursday vs. Dallas. lol
Scoob approved seats (first row, second level, mid-ice) are $48 |

This is an overreaction in my opinion. - SuperSchennBros
How so? This core has been mentally fragile for at least 5 years now... whether its 10 game losing streaks, not being able to win on the road, terrible PK.... I think the streaky play of Simmonds, and blind pass no back check of Voracek has a lot to do with it.
I like Raffl, but if he can get me a 4th this year when we will likely be moving on from him anyway is a smart move. Simmonds is likely not going to resign with us, I dont want him back.
Maybe your refering to my suggestion on Ghost? I would just listen to offers and if someone was going to overpay, then I make the move knowing I still have Provorov, Sanheim, Myers, and possibly Morin plus whatever we pick up in the deal. |

Just going off Bill’s projected line ups. But I would assume so Hart doesn’t go b2b nights - arichardson22
Also, I don't think they want Hart being in a game against a talented team like the Caps that can get super ugly.
That game at the end of the 2018 calendar year, when they were getting worked by the Lightening and was down 5 - 2 going into the 3rd, Gordon still wouldn't lift Neuvirth for Hart. |

If I were them, I would apologize to any players I besmirched privately and in person. Then forget about it. Really, who watched this team night after night this season and isn’t frustrated? Feelings happen, people are human. It didn’t bother me at all and if I was one of those players, I would understand too. - NC Flyers Fan

According to comments in the tweet the cameras and mics were live during a commercial break. This wasn't recorded surreptitiously - it was publicly broadcast.

I understand but it still shouldn't have been circulated around the internet.

I disagree. This is very different than a cab driver private recording. This was a public broadcast. Sure, not all of the public gets it live - we get commercials - but it was a public broadcast nonetheless.
Don't want to be caught on a hot mic? Shut it off.
Anyway, it's not like they outlawed Russia. |

If it was you, would you want it circulated. Or would you do that to a friend. That's how I look at it. It was two guys talking. It puts them in a tough spot.

It does put them in an embarrassing spot, but I wouldn't call it a tough spot. Were they to ask me, I'd recommend that they just ignore it. The comments weren't scandalous, or even scathing. They were simply opinions. Ignore it and move on.
Oh, and cut the mics during commercial breaks.
Would I do it to a friend? No. But the Tweeter isn't a friend of the guys. But I'm fine with it being circulated. The guys are humans and they know the game. It's nice to hear blunt opinions. |

Raffl has some value. He can play up and down the lineup and can be a threat at times.
Voracek looks like he isn’t healthy. He has always been inconsistent but not like this. On his good days he has a mix of physicality and skill similar to Forsberg. On his bad days he looks like an AHL player. It is almost like he isn’t healthy but sometimes he feels good and it shows in his game other times not so much.
Equal value for Weal? Bag of used practice pucks?
For years they have spoke of this core. What have they accomplished to deserve to stick with this core? I understand Chicago, LA and Pittsburgh keeping the core together but the flyers core has done diddly squat. - Xwrg12

Didn't it go out publicly?
Protocol should be for mics to be turned off when not broadcasting. - Scoob
This is like the racist college wieners from Borat trying to sue him for defamation of character. It's not his fault they said it while being filmed (or, in this case, mic'd up). If you say things in a recording studio/booth, and don't turn the microphones off, then there's a chance someone will hear it. If you don't want that, then either turn the mics off or don't say anything you don't want people to hear. |
