I feel bad for Gordon. He didn't deserve this - bulet13
There was a reason it's been 8 years between NHL head coaching gigs. |

Not sure about everyone else, but I’m really enjoying the Sixers instead of this mess. Incredibly fun to watch.
Too bad they didn’t do things the right way though. They’ll be an asterisk for whatever they win, kinda like the Penguins. |

Today's NHL. Where clean hits result in fights. |

Good clean hit. I still hate it when a player has to fight after a clean hit. Take the hit and play on. If its a dirty hit fine, then you fight... |

Yeah. So much urgency from them. Dear god. Just going through the motions I swear.
This will probably end up being a 15 game losing streak. |

True, and I believe they had no choice after the whole debacle firing Hakstol but he's not the guy that was going to turn this poop around. |

Any time Gudas has a clean solid hit he's having to fight. Refs should always be calling a penalty when he gets jumped after that |

I'm still furious how upper management mishandled the whole gong show. We werent a great team but to surprise fire the gm looking for a quick fix early in the season only to hire a guy who smartly doesn't make any big moves basically just threw the season away. They're now unwatchable with half a season to go.
Not to mention they mishandled the hakstol firing. If you want to make change, fire the coach mid season but don't clean house until the early offseason imho. No need to throw away the season like this. Of Comcast was unhappy which low ticket prices before look out. |

Nice clean hip check by Gudas and then Pelle Smith came over...it was more of a big hug fest until they fell to the ice |

TK w/ his motor going, competing like hell for every 50/50 puck... while JVR floats around aimlessly, hoping the puck comes to him.

Completely agree and well said. A black eye on the entire organization.
How did Dave Scott get this gig? Anyone know who his dad is?

Tbh they haven't played terribly but every mistake ends up in the net and they just can't buy a goal |

This game reminds me of a beer league hockey tournament when you have that one team that registers as a ‘C’ level team, but are in reality ‘AA’ level.
Caps are toying with the Flyers.... |
