The one that scored 2 goals over celebrated on his goal which lead to a goal against, but was clearly faster then the other players and back-checked quite a bit and scored a 2nd goal.... so yea, sign him.

The Forsberg deal was ahead of the TDL by a couple of weeks, I think.

So maybe something gets done before the deadline, but not likely.

I think Kaako Kuppari beyond being fun to say, has the best chance to be a steady player that can be relied on to score. Hughes IMO is either going to be an exceptional or a bust. I need one of them to make this season be ok.

From what I saw of Hughes at the World Juniors, I'm not seeing a guy that is a clear cut top pick. I'm also not seeing anything special in his stat lines that would convince me he is that guy. Sure he is fast, but he is small, real small. His game seems to be of the playmaker variety, and frankly, this team needs to be drafting top flight snipers. Guys who can put up 35 in their sleep at the NHL level.

Kakko plays in a grown men league and is putting up impressive numbers.

I would like to see more of dach cozens who didnt play in wjc. And podkolzin was extremely impressive imo.

Do you think JvR has any value at all? Do you think ANY team would even consider picking him up off waivers with that salary?

Now this is somewhat logical thinking.

I wouldn’t make a deal now either. While I’m not sure Myers coming up right now, I am for waiting to see what we have before blind dealing. Can Morin play nightly in this league? We won’t know until February. Can we put together a decent combination of players within the next month. I personally believe that any line up that includes Jordan Weal on the third line is a bad line up. I personally believe constantly moving forwards from center to wing is bad for consistency.
