This is an extreme long shot, but it would be very, very interesting if there were some sort of locker room issues that we are just not informed about between some of our teammates (for obvious reasons). Think Ottawa recently... yes they may have overachieved making it to the ECF, but to drop so drastically last season it didn’t make a lot of sense. Sure there was the front office drama BUT this past offseason we all found out of this Hoffman girlfriend locker room issue that was known pretty early in the season and it kinda made sense. |

These guys have been together so long if there was a locker room issue it would've come to a head by now.
It's really not any more complicated than just being a bad mix of players. |

Glass half full...
tanking this year will create a run next year. Myers, Morin and NAK will get some time as the season moves on. The Flyers will make good hockey trades and address the chemistry issue. They will have 2 prospects make the team (Allison, Frost etc)
Expectations will be low and the pressure off, BOOM they make the conference finals. |

Who knows maybe somebody banged someone else’s wife again lol. While I agree it’s a bad mix, the team (on paper at least) improved in the offseason and we look far from the team that got us to the playoffs last year. |

He was awful last night. Ghost looked bad as well. I noticed during Calgary game that we seem to be playing more timid. Thought it was due to Flames being so dangerous offensively but it carried over last night. |

Reading TSN and found this from Habs GM when asked about if they were buyers or sellers at TDL. A few points back of wildcard spot.
"Right now it’s way too early to talk about that. Other general managers - nobody has started talking about trades. And that’s usually 10 days before, a week before, so we have a long ways to go for that." |

Makes sense, I think you would only see a trade now if a playoff team, say Winnipeg, lost a few main contributors and needed to stay aflaot for a few weeks. |

Usually that's true and for the position hes in it makes sense. For guys fighting for their jobs and teams on the bubble it may not be able to wait that long. Though I do believe the biggest deals will be done in February |

Looked online 1/12 hours before game. $7 for center ice upper level or club box $50, includes entry to Cadillac Club plus $25 towards concessions each ticket on the blue line Flyers shoot twice. Wife said nope |

Against Washington?
Have to pay me $100 just to go which must include 2 free beers, a soft pretzel and a cup of that orange engine oil. |

Serious question now that this Jonesy and JJ "secret" recording is starting to pick up steam. What do you think are the ramifications of this? I personal think it's not a big deal. Off air, just venting their frustrations like the rest of us. But, I'm starting to see it make its way around the internet. It may continue to gain speed. I'd hate for anything serious to come of this. Other than Jakey having his feelings hurt. |

It's in DC tonight and I assume their fans are still paying face value for the privilege of watching their team. |

I talked about it repeatedly. Last season the Flyers were able to mix in different matchups and use Provorov and Gostisbehere in a different mix of matchups. All last year all the "expert analytic" posters told me how wrong I was about how Filppula helped the team last season and how he was a garbage player. The Flyers were able to use the Couturier/Giroux line more last season along with Provorov/Gostisbehere is more offensive situations than this season. - MJL
For sure, it has affected usage in a negative way because they were not properly replaced. For Ghost, confidence is the only excuse I have now...especially considering the PP cliff drop.

No one said Kakko over Hughes. Hughes is no question #1 pick. However, IMO he will either be a hit or miss. |
