Agreed. For the time being, he doesn't appear to have much competition. Botterill will weigh is production/cost versus the cost of replacing him, its unlikely the latter happens but there's still a TDL, draft and July 1 to go.

Hard to read of course, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Nylander got a late season chance again and Olofsson gets a look if they get the chance. Right now, a middle 6 job is sitting there for him to grab hold of. He may never have a better chance.

I drop more eff bombs when Bogo and Blow-you are playing than any other players. They make me nervous everytime they are on the ice. Housely better never play them together or else my wife will leave me due to the explosion of profanity that would result.

middle six is tricky, there's still some uncertainty with the 2/3C spot, may determine if an outside add is needed.

But I think they envision their third line being productive long term, not a shut down line so a regular spot in the top 9 could definitely be his.
