It's between Nylander, Gruhle, and Asplund for prospects you could get. - jmatchett383
Do you also get minions with him?
TBH I don't know if Buffalo would give Guhle up for him, but I would surely take him. |

In case anyone is wondering, Yegor Zamula has more than tripled his point production from last year (has also played 8 more games this year).
Edit: My bad, he's doubled it in 30 fewer games. Didn't see he was traded. |

I really don't want Nylander even if Buffalo was willing to trade him, but I would be thrilled if it was any of their 1st rounders without having to take a bad contract back. - Glak18
I think someone had said Buffalo's GM is on the record saying they won't move 1st's for rentals.
Just feel like Buffalo really needs to pick up some vets. |

Maybe this week, St. Louis will throw a dart and it will land on, "We're a contender," and make a trade for him. |

I can't.
Although here is a hypothetical question:
If none of the players scored a goal for the Flyers the whole season, who would be more valuable to the team?

Weise

Well they are going to have a tough time making a trade then because their most valuable trade assets are their 3 1st rounders. I mean if they want a deadline addition then they would need to give up some roster players not named Okposo, Pominville, Sobotka, Bogosian, Scandella with a prospect. |

Last season they easily made up the Flyers top defensive pairing. - MJL
If they play like last season, they're fine. Also, unless Myers or Sanheim explode, there's no good fit for top pair. - jmatchett383
Last season and the big IF...exactly! I would love to get a sure bet, steady eddy, minute muncher, right shot d with at least 3 full NHL season to pair with Provy. |

I think we all would. When you see one readily available that doesn't cripple this team's future, please let us know. |

Wow that is tough between Mario and Gretz, but I would go with Gretzky mostly because of Lemieux's injury history.
FYI: I know what you did, but the question has more to do about playing defense. |

And if they're not scoring goals, Guy Carbonneau is definitely more valuable than Lemieux, and maybe more so than Gretzky. |

Loved what I saw of the kid in camp! Have only seen clips since. He is more long term because he will have to bulk up, but he has a bright future IMO.

Gretzky created many many offensive chances without scoring, also was not a bad defensive player....
SO TAKE THAT! |

He made 18-year-old Sanheim look like 28-year-old Chris Pronger. |

Okay then, Pavel Datsyuk.
So yeah, not the best example, I could use Brett Hull and Mike Bossy instead. But just saying, "Well, if he doesn't score" doesn't work because he does, in fact, score at times. Enough to justify his spot is a different discussion. |

Well, he is a left shot, but that is the idea. Not a PP guy necessarily, but PK for sure.
