If they move Simmonds the return i am hoping for is something like:

To Philadelphia: Ryan Donato, 2019 conditional 2nd (can move up to 1st if they make it to stanley cup)

To Boston: Simmonds

That's kind of where I see Simmonds value and a return that is fair and helps the Flyers moving forward.

Nah, what’s the point? Neither is worth re-signing for what their next deal will cost.

dont know, Zucc stats last 2 years are on the slide, this season really down. I think there is a better deal out there but Zucc has the skill set (if he is playing well) this team lacks

Anyone else see this?

“We think she was just wandering along the sidewalk and saw the greenery,” said Kjerstin Lastufka, hospital spokeswoman. The hospital alerted patrons to watch for the moose around campus.

You know...just a moose wandering down the sidewalk, nothing out of the ordinary for a Tuesday afternoon in Alaska.

Please no. I want no part of Zucc for 4-6 more years at 6 million or so per.

I hope you're right but that's a lot for a player that might be a rental for them.

Anaheim's fighting for a WC spot, what do people think about Troy Terry?

I don't want just picks. If it was a conditional 3rd I might be ok. For me I want to find a player that could be close to NHL. To me Donato could be a solid depth player and can grow with this team.

I get what your saying though

I would like a player like Donato also but to expect that and a conditional 2nd that could turn into a first is a stretch.

Yeah, Donato and a 3rd that could become a 2nd would be more likely

C'mon, there was nothing in that post about Simmonds. 30 and 27 is not the same as 37. They're comparable in offensive output but Simmonds is and has been the better player in my opinion. You keep coming at me but you don't have your ducks in a row.

There wasn’t anything about Simmonds in that specific quote, but you stated something else about rather having Simmonds than JvR for his deal. I’m connecting dots, try and keep up. JvR has never scored 37 goals, so I assumed you were exaggerating. Scoring ~30 goals in this league is very difficult and JvR has done that twice and was on pace in 2015-2016 when the leafs were in dead last to pot ~28 goals. My ducks are all lined up bud. Can’t wait for this next response...

This entire post is a desperate reach on your part and shows that your ducks definitely aren't in a row. JvR scored 36 goals last season. The one goal difference doesn't change the point. There was nothing in the post you quoted about Simmonds and the post about preferring Simmonds over JvR was a different conversation.
Here is the point that is alluding you. In the current situation that JvR is playing in, with the state of the Flyers. Playing with the linemates that he is playing with, on the 2nd PP unit, he is not going to score at the level that he scored at last year. That doesn't change whether it was 36 or 37 goals. 36 to 37 is such an exaggeration. He's currently scoring at a 18 goal pace. The comment was not to suggest that JvR can't score goals. He obviously can but that he needs to play in different situation to get that value out of him. That's the kind of player that he is.

In summation, in your zeal to contradict me, you failed miserably again.

sigh - your original point was you can’t expect JvR to produce on a bad team. Now you’re twisting my words and yours to include additional variables (some are subjective and true for those leafs teams). Whatever...

Nothing whatsoever was twisted. It's just not working out for you. I know exactly what I was alluding to and what the context of the conversation was. You obviously do not.
