I’m just hoping it’s a showing of respect from
Botterill and some how the guy realizes it’s time to retire in the offseason. Highly doubt he leaves money on the table though. |

Skinner's still shooting over 21%. His career best is just over 14%. Eventually that number has to drop on him unless somehow after almost 600 NHL games he's suddenly morphed from a 30~ goal guy into a 60 goal one.
Lindholm always had the talent, but he's also shooting over 19%. Hell, there are four guys on the Flames shooting over 18%, which is ridiculous. Those numbers are going to fall for them too. Maybe they get obscenely lucky and somehow have 5 guys finish at a point per game or better (Including Giordano) but I highly doubt it. - BINGO!

Tell that to have the posters on this site who believe that Skinner and Reinhart score more then 60 points this year without Eichel. Apparently we don’t need him. |

Sucks cause my son loves him. He gave him a puck when we sat behind the bench, then he was playing tag with his kids and my son at Pautlers the summer he was in the hospital. His wife and kids were great, before they left the park, they took a bunch pictures with my son.
But man, has he fallen off a cliff on the ice. |

I was at a game sitting behind the net 15 rows up when Okposo did a curl and drag shot that went off a stick up over the mesh and I caught the puck. I have it on a dresser of mine in my bedroom still. He seems like a class act, great role model and person, but at the end of the day it’s a performance based business. |

There is no reason not to like the man. but yeah he truly does not belong on the ice right now.. i wonder if there is still some lingering affects or if he is just permanently done from the concussion and following health/mental issues. |

Connolly syndrome. Only thing i can really think of, maybe he thinks about taking a hit every time he is on the ice and its just such a distraction that his game is suffering horribly.

Yeah i have the picture of him and my son, with the puck he gave us in my sons room. I talked with him and his wife for a good 2 hours at the park that day. Really awesome, down to earth people. We were leaving at the same time and his wife goes " I am taking your picture with Kyle get over there!" She loved that my son was so excited. |

If only Mitts and Sobotka were flipped i would be pretty happy. - CoHo_to_B-Lo
Agree with this change plus insert CJ Smith into the line-up replacing Okposo (which will never happen). |

Love Jeff but he used his NTC to make sure he landed in the perfect spot to cash in big time. |

At least Housley has moved TNT up to line number one and Rhino down to #2 to help spread out the scoring a bit - and to reward Thompson. Baby steps i guess. Maybe he makes a change mid-game and moves Sobotka out for Mitts. |

I think he actually likes it here, everything he is doing off the ice included, he looks like a kid in a candy store. Always smiling. We will see how much it costs to keep him. But i wouldn't mind seeing him bury Eichels passes for years to come. |

The dude is almost never not smiling.
Unless he's arguing with the refs or with Bill Peters about something on the bench. |

I was at Pommer's 2 goal game against Ottawa when they won 9 - 2. That was back in early November. Honestly, that's the last game I remember seeing him do anything on the ice. I love Pommer but he's done. But if i had a choice of sitting one of Pommer or Okposo, i would pick Okposo. Housley doesn't have the stones to sit either Okposo or Pommer IMO.

My buddy was at the game Tuesday in the 300s and said he could hear Skinner chirping the refs and the other bench even in the rafters LOL |

i can't even think of the last time i noticed pommer on the ice.. he has been invisible.. that is a good thing at times because you know he isn't screwing up.. unlike Ok, i notice him a few times a game |

Either one is the logical choice. I absolutely hate this stuff.
Here's how these things go:
-player called up, placed in a depth role with non-scorers
"He hasn't earned anything"
Player scores. No promotion
Scratched next game.
Awesome, makes complete sense. |
