My buddy was at the game Tuesday in the 300s and said he could hear Skinner chirping the refs and the other bench even in the rafters LOL - CoHo_to_B-Lo
Sounds about right. |

They don't bug me.
They're cheesy and kind of lame but the kids love it and it costs nothing. A 4 year old sees that and thinks, hey, that's fun! And suddenly you have a new hockey fan. |

It keeps a lot of the fans in their seats after the game to see what they will do next. So I think it is cool. |

The dude is almost never not smiling.
Unless he's arguing with the refs or with Bill Peters about something on the bench. - BINGO!

A friend is a friend.
A pal is a pal.
Buddies go to bed together.
It’s 2019 and I don’t judge. |

Last day to vote Skinner in as the last man in - Stripes77
I kinda hope Eichel sits it out to get back to 100% and Skinner takes his place as an alternate |

I don't think that is the case if he is still injured. |

They'll have to have an all-star physician examine him to make sure he isn't lying. That can be the pregame show. Dr. Oz examines Eichel to see if he's really hurt |

If it's followed by Hossa and Horton, then a fan vote, I'd watch.

Big Mike is a terrible boozer and Black Steve is busy more often than not.
Dave the Electrician can’t drive until his license get reinstated.
Mazz the Landscaper starts working at dawn so he falls asleep around 7:30 most nights.
Gooch found some lady on Match.com and he’s shrinking his testicles til they’re the size of raisins.
Printing Steve and Richie still both have little kids.
You can have friends and still wind up pretty lonely. |

Connolly syndrome. Only thing i can really think of, maybe he thinks about taking a hit every time he is on the ice and its just such a distraction that his game is suffering horribly. - CoHo_to_B-Lo

You would really like Dave the Electrician. He'll listen to anybody, no matter how dumb their opinions are. |

Eat a cock - BeadyEyedDouche
what exactly is my best?
I can't take anything that's Sabres-associated seriously until I see an actual product on the ice. Not horribly contrasted and damp looking uniforms and a bunch of undisciplined idiots, but a well-dressed and entertaining game and an atmosphere that doesn't drag with paper fans and drunk morons who don't know how to root for a team whether it's losing or not. Obviously the losing has a lot to do with it but I don't like how a miserable on-ice attitude has been allowed to drag on this entire time.
Ted Nolan wouldn't have been such a bad last few years and we still would have finished last. For a guy who loves his "Sabres Alumni", Terry Pegula sure has run through quite a few of them since he's bought the team.
It's no excuse for lazy management this last several years, in any case. The marketing is stale, the presentation is old, the tone is flat and the environment is empty of any kind of emotion. It's all just a ho-hum attitude from the top down, and the fanbase isn't free of this criticism, either. The players live like the populace does in Buffalo.
Criticize Jack and Sam for supposedly being drinkers who stay up until the sun comes up on game days and still show up to work, yeah, how dare they. They aren't Jim-Kellying around town or driving into buildings and literally every single player ever does that when they're young and grinding the schedule.
I do see them go through the motions but I do NOT see them mope. I have seen a few players mope and be invisible leaders in a confused locker-room that's clearly hostile because they don't have a healthy work environment.
It's still a (frank)ing poop-show and until it actually appears as a consistent and entertaining on-ice product, then there's no point in repeating the same things Ad nauseam and taking blog discussion so seriously that it interferes with your everyday life.
