Do you think Bob just forgot to set his alarm and didn't show up to practice on time or is this a much bigger issue and he's done with the team? Seems like it's getting blown way out of proportion. |

I LOVE Brent SPINER! And my creepy Star Trek run in was when James Doohan (the original Scotty) invited me back to his room. I was all of 16 at the time and he was far from young. He was fine with the rejection, but the conversation was obviously over. - FlyersGrace
You said no!?!? Crazy woman. Sounds like a true Scotsman...or Bristish Columbian. He's got a little Pat Burrell in him. How'd this encounter take place?
Frakes was pretty bad. He'd like sneak up behind women and put his arm around them. A few women actually jumped. And Spiner was surprisingly funny. He was sporting an "At Least I'm Not Brent Spiner" shirt and just cracking everyone up. |

They specifically mentioned he did something that didnt align with the team values. Idk what that means. But sounds more serious than over sleeping. |

Maybe punching out the team doctor is frowned upon in the Columbus organization??? |

There were a group of guys dressed as Klingon's who were having full-fledged conversations in (what I can only assume was) Klingon.

There are some guys that post on hockey forums all day and know all the rules, and can recall games from 20 years ago. They could probably give you a best line-up for each jersey number.

I'm a huge Cheers fan. Can't get enough of that show. Taxi was good. I actually thought Spin City was a well done show both with Michael J. Fox and then Charlie Sheen. Kinda flew under the radar in the mid to late 90's.
I am also a big fan of The Office. I honestly believe that Michael Scott is one of the greatest sitcom characters in history. Bold statement, I know. Steve Carrell played him so well. He had a depth that you just don't see with leads. He was a buffoon, a caring person, insecure, scared, funny, annoying, unrealistic... He could change from episode to episode. Just amazing.
The "Survivor Man" episode where he has Dwight take him to the "deep Pennsylvania wilderness" and leave him to fend for himself is a good example. Total buffoon then at the very end, he gives Jim sage, serious advice about managing. Just good stuff. - cdearth23
News Radio is the most underrated sitcom.

Just made that very same point last year, when comic con was in Philly.
I was with a friend of mine down by the convention center, and there were a lot of people in cosplay. My buddy wondered why they would do that and meanwhile, he was dressed in a Phillies jersey. - johndewar
I should post some of the cosplay pics from Blizzcon this year.
The creativity that people showed just blew me away. |

Yes. And none of those things are imaginary or made-up, they actually happened.
I'm not saying I have a problem with it, was just a little too Trekkie for me. |

So I am not the only one who is irked by Provy's short stick? He seems like he is overcompensating for something. - bmoreflyer

Meh. I find it fascinating... But then again I'm a geek sooo.....
BTW if anyone likes geek culture you should check out critical role. Matt Mercer is the best DM I have every seen, and Sam Regal is so funny. |

They already did that with a kid named Carter Hart, who is younger and less experienced that other prospects they could promote from the AHL. Are you seeing any signs that playing on a bad team is ruining him? - Feanor
Yes but like many have pointed out Hart is freakishly mature for his age. People handle things differently than others. My sister for instance freaks out and gets stressed just because I ask her to order and pickup Pizza on her way home 1 hour before her shift ends. She says "last minute stuff" makes her stress. |

Bill,
Given that Morin has been skating for well over a month, are there any reports on how he is looking? Is he working with any of the staff on break out passes or other issues that were identified as weaknesses? - juiced
He has to get his knee fully rehabbed first. |

OMG I loved scrubs. Would weeds be considered a sitcom? If so I might change my answer. |

lol true. Provy's drop off is just disappointing. He was looking like the future captain of the team. Now I have no clue where the team goes sans Giroux. Also Coots has not been the same players since he blew out his knee. It sucks to say it. Could he be on the move? |

BOB has a full NMC/NTC and is UFA this summer. Making $7.4+ this season. He will be looking for term and money (6 and $8++). If we haven't already moved on, I'd move on... I assume he will provide Jackets a list of teams or waive NTC if situation is bad. I figure he is well aware of the Carter Hart situation and probably doesn't want any part of a Flyers sequel. |

I dont like Bob's attitude and it seems like there is more to the situation. The fact he threatened to go back to Russia instead of just out playing Bryz says it all. Now this. I dont want anything to do with any contract that our team would be on the hook for at the first sign of adversity for Bob. |

Provorov will be fine. It's not uncommon for a young player to have a down year. He'll bounce back and this experience will help him down the line. I don't think Couturier is going anywhere. |
