Removed players that won't be with team when the draft takes place.

Chose 8 skaters with the hope Myers becomes a solid NHL defenseman by then. Also because there really aren't a lot of forwards that are must protect. Voracek was a toss up, if one of the defensemen are traded or don't work out then he would be added instead. I really don't know what will become of Lindblom, Vorobyov, Rubtsov, Morin to add them to the list.

Looking at the current list the name that bothers me the most is Sandstrom. He may not even come over to NA, but if he becomes what I think he could then he would probably be traded before the draft.

He made a poor argument I think. Mainly based on jack Hughes is not going to ride in on his white horse and save the team and be a superstar next year.

I see nothing wrong with fans that hope that the team positions themselves for the best talent in the draft. It’s just more fun than rooting for weise to hit double digit goals in April, sorry.
