Will Sam Morin play any games in the nhl this season? I hope so, if he’s healthy. |

How? By watching the player play. Plenty of information out there on Myers and Aube-Kubel's potential. Never an exact science but they have a pretty good idea. - MJL
Right, so they've gathered enough data from their AHL careers to know they're NHL players. Now it's time to start collecting data in the NHL. I think Myers ceiling could be very high, but it's meaningless guesswork/approximations until they actually start playing consistently with the Flyers. To your point, not an exact science... |

He may get in some games this year especially when you consider the state of the team and the fact that they will be giving certain players a look see. I could be wrong but have maintained that Morin is a bust pick. A 6-or 7 D man at best. Very unlikely that he will have a meaningful NHL career. |

I think he will get an AHL conditioning assignment in a month or so then at worst be used as the Flyers 7th Dman. Call me old school but I'm sick of seeing this team get frequently bullied with no answers. He should help in that regard.

Injuries have kept him out of the NHL as a regular to this point. If he can get and stay healthy, then we'll see what he is. I don't know what info you might have to label him a bust at this point with how little he has been able to play.

I watched the Calgary Hitmen @ Saskatoon Blades last night live. Don't have an official count, but Zamula was on the ice for at least close to 30 minutes in all situations. He was smooth skating, and all over the ice involved in play. Honestly seemed like a man on an island for a lot of it, but used to it.
Zamula only made one questionable play and turned over the puck exiting his zone stick handling a little too much. As a player, he stood out more than anyone else on the ice.
Dach was okay. Skating stride is bow-legged but still gets decent top speed. Seems like an alright stick handler and decent zip in his shot. Only got offensive zone starts though. Also seemed to not really know where to go when he didn't have , or was directly fighting for the puck. As a potentially high first round pick, even on one viewing, I wasn't overwhelmed. But it was only one night. |

Yes. That's the plan. Will do a rehab/conditioning stint first with the Phantoms and then come up to the big team. |

Hopefully Zamula has a similar path that Myers has had....good young D are hard to find.

Never understood why people give so much credit for hitting the post, doesn't matter if it's wide by 5 feet or off the post it means your shooting is off. |

Yup, Bill Clement saying they're "not getting the bounces" doesn't cut it. |

Because even though its not in the back of the net, you still beat the goalie. If it hit the post the right way it still goes in. |

Yeah his comment really takes away from the players who can actually bury their shots like they just get lucky. |

Yup. By his logic General Custer, the Washington Generals and the 2017 Cleveland Browns just didn’t get the bounces either. |

If Hak communicated like that with players they wouldn't be reporting it like it was something new. |

Except that quote is accurate. If a player is standing still and has all the time in the world, yea that would be true but 90% of the time the player is shooting quickly with pressure and usually moving at a high speed. Players can see a ton of room on the goalie but picking that spot in that sort of situation is harder to accomplish. Look at Giroux's shot moments ago. He had half a net available to him but he missed it. |
