both arent proven top pairing d-men.

Edmonton would be intrigued to have the fastest center playing with the fastest winger in the game.

but I think Brown previous success with McDavid may intrigue the Oilers.

They did put H1N1 in there, which is what's going around - but the wrong strain of H1N1. Theoretically, it will help reduce symptoms but won't stop you from getting it. Last years was completely ineffective.

Also, it takes 2 - 3 weeks for the vaccine to be effective (your body needs time to produce the antibodies), so if you get it during the height of the flu season then it's likely to not work.

Yep.

I got the h1n1 shot years ago when there was that big outbreak. I got it 2 days later because a member of my family had it

For old people, it's completely worth it. For younger, healthy people - usually not. Although it doesn't hurt anything to get it, so a lot of people do it anyway.

People commonly think that, but that's not how it works.

The flu shot is a 'best guess' of what will be going around based on what's present at the time they plan the vaccine. If they guess wrong - which they often do - then the flu shot is ineffective. For some people, it's still worth getting because it can lessen symptoms (valuable for the elderly and immune deficient) but most of the time it's garbage.

For the immune deficient it's actually more valuable that the rest of us get it - the herd immunity is what keeps them safe, as they may not have the same response (i.e. the production of antibodies) that the rest of us do. Obviously (as you pointed out in another post) it doesn't cover all strains of flu however, but some are better than none.

I'm good with this.

I like Connor Brown, but we're deep enough that a $2.25m fourth line winger is a luxury.

before you trade Brown, you trade Johnsson.

Brown and Hyman aren't going anywhere soon.

More likely Nylander or Kapanen gets traded than one of those two guys.

Not because they are necessarily better players, but they do their job really well.
Can't say that about fatty Nylander this year btw.

Sam Gagne? When he gets called up it will be with the Canucks, he is their property. He is only on loan to the Marlies, some deal they worked out to accommodate him, family related.
